Why Southern Highlands Families Choose Ace Chem-Dry
Thirty years of doing it properly, one home at a time.
Owned and Run by Tony Woods
Ace Chem-Dry is not a franchise run by a rotating crew of subcontractors. Tony Woods owns the business and does the work. When you call, you speak to the person who will be standing in your living room.
A Franchisee for Three Decades
Tony has been a Chem-Dry franchisee for three decades — long enough to have seen every carpet type, every stain and every mistake other operators make. That experience is the reason the results are consistent.
Genuinely Local
We live and work in the Southern Highlands. Our customers are our neighbours, and that is the standard we hold ourselves to on every job.
Fully Qualified Water Damage Restorer
Tony is a fully qualified water damage restorer, with the equipment and resources to handle flood and sewerage events properly — not just the carpets.
We Keep Our Appointments
When we make an appointment, we keep it, as closely as possible to the estimated time. Your day matters as much as ours.
We Return Every Call
If the message system is on, we may be out of range or on another call. Your calls are always important and we do return all messages left.
Work With the People Who Do the Work
Three decades of Chem-Dry experience, locally owned, and still answering the phone themselves.
The Same Two People, Cleaning the Highlands for Thirty Years
Ace Chem-Dry began the way most good local businesses do — one van, one family, and a determination to do the job properly. Three decades later, Tony Woods is still a Chem-Dry franchisee, and he is still the one who turns up at your door.
In that time we have cleaned carpets in weatherboard cottages in Burradoo, holiday rentals in Bundanoon and farmhouses out past Robertson. We have dealt with wool, nylon, solution-dyed, loop pile and cut pile; with red wine, coffee, ink, blood, grease and just about anything a pet can produce. That range of experience is not something you can buy — it is earned one job at a time.
We are not the cheapest operator in the Highlands, and we do not pretend to be. We are the ones who will tell you honestly whether a carpet can be saved or should be replaced, who will not sell you a treatment you do not need, and who will come back if the result is not right.
What Matters to Us
Attention to Detail
Outstanding workmanship combined with great attention to detail is what produces a genuinely healthier home. We do not rush the edges, the corners or the traffic lanes.
Honesty
We will tell you what will work and what will not. If a stain has permanently damaged the fibre, we will say so rather than charge you for a treatment that cannot succeed.
Care for Your Home
We treat your home as we would our own — furniture moved carefully, floors protected and the workspace left tidy.
Chem-Dry Trained, Fully Insured, Locally Accountable
Every product and process we use comes from Chem-Dry — the world's leading carpet, rug and upholstery cleaner, and a network with more than 30 years of international experience behind it. Chem-Dry cleaning solutions and equipment are backed by ongoing scientific research, which is why they end so many stubborn stains other cleaners leave behind.
Tony is a fully qualified water damage restorer, which means Ace Chem-Dry can look after a home from a routine carpet clean right through to an insurance flood claim.
And because we are local, accountability is not a customer service department somewhere else. It is Tony's mobile number.
