Why do I need to seal the Tile and Grout?

Cleaning will bring your Tiles and Grout lines back to a new or near new appearance and sealing will help you keep them looking that way for longer. General traffic and general household soil age and cleaning with a mop and bucket or the build up of soap residue in the bathroom, water settles into the low areas of the Tile and Grout giving then a Dirty or dark appearance. Coating the area cleaned with sealant will provide a barrier between general soil age, moisture and what may be left behind from the mop. Hence this will keep the appearance of newer looking Tiles and Grout for longer. This is a service that may only be required every few years, not the more regular type of cleaning needed for say carpets and Linoleum floors.

Can you just obtain a quote over the phone?

At Ace Chemdry we do not give a quote over the phone as we need to perform a few simple tests in the existing areas to be cleaned so we can give you an exact price and a small demonstration as to the results you can expect from Tile and Grout cleaning. We are also able to fully determine the correct sealant to use as there are different types of cleaners and sealants for different types of tiles. i.e.; glazed Tiles versus Terracotta tiles.

We also have to assess the tiles for any possible cracks and missing grout that may affect the cleaning process.
